When planned routes meet real-world conditions on the road, drivers may need some flexibility. With Routific’s new driver workflow tools, dispatchers can allow drivers to re-order their stops, even after a route has started. There’s no need to call or wait for a new route plan — drivers can simply mark any stop “Go here first”.
There are many scenarios where this can be useful:
June 30, 2026

Routific now saves the exact GPS location where a driver marks a stop delivered, missed, or reattempted. Inside your order details, you'll see the actual completion location plotted alongside the planned stop — so you can confirm a delivery happened where it should have, resolve disputes, and catch address mismatches.

The moment when a dispatcher publishes a route is not always the best time to send out a customer notification. For example, if you’re planning routes several days ahead you might not want to notify customers too early; or if the route is published late at night, you don’t want to disturb them. Now you can choose exactly when the “delivery scheduled” notification goes out: immediately when the route is published, or 30 minutes to 24 hours before the route actually starts.

Routific’s algorithm predicts a precise ETA, but when communicating a delivery window to customers you don’t want to create unrealistic expectations. For example, if your delivery ETA is 2pm and you want to give your customer a one-hour delivery window, 30 minutes before and after the ETA might set their expectation too early.
Now you can edit Routific’s customer notifications to set a more precise delivery window. So for the 2pm delivery, you can choose 15 minutes earlier than ETA for the earliest arrival, and 60 minutes after the ETA for latest arrival. The customer will get a message to expect their delivery anytime between 1:45pm and 3pm.

Most businesses use lots of different software systems to manage their operations: e-commerce storefronts, order management software, CRM systems, or their own dashboards.
Webhooks allow you to keep your other systems in sync with Routific automatically. Whereas an API requires your system to request information, webhooks push updates to you the moment something happens. For example, you might use webhooks to:
Routific currently supports three events: route published, route ETAs updated, and order status updated.
You'll need a developer to set up the receiving endpoint. Read more about how webhooks work in Routific.

Even small delivery mistakes can create big problems: missed meals, frustrated customers, and drivers sent back out to fix errors. That’s why we’re introducing barcode scanning so drivers can scan packages at the door to confirm they’re delivering the right items to the right customer. Meanwhile, dispatchers get a clear audit trail of each scan.
Implementing barcode scanning results in fewer wrong deliveries, fewer support calls, and more confidence across the entire delivery operation.
This is the first version of barcode scanning in Routific. It allows you to:

Drivers can be 10% faster on roads they have driven on more than five times. The more often a driver covers the same area, the better they know its roads, parking options, building entrances, and clients. This can shave a few minutes off every delivery, adding up to a lot of time over multiple routes and days.
Routific now tracks how often a driver has been assigned to a specific territory and scores their familiarity — helping you choose the right driver and increasing your delivery efficiency.

With Insights, you can track:
